The Polish Gitar Academy is an international cultural and educational event chich continous well-established summer master course In classical gitar chich takes place In Szczawno Zdroj (17 editions) and in Zerkow last year. The Academy also means a regional festival aiming at establishing a European centre for popularizing the finest guitar music. The Polish Guitar Academy is founded by the Bona Fide Association of Wielkopolska Residents (Stowarzyszenie Wielkopolan Bona Fide) and Ponte Art Production.
The initiative has been realized under the honorary patronage and in cooperation with Wielkopolska province local authorities, The Ministry of Culture and National Heritage, the Art Education Centre in Warsaw, the city of Poznan and the city of Jarocin.
The Polish Guitar Academy is organized in association with the Paderewski Music Academy in Poznan, Polish Cultural Foundation and the A. Mickiewicz University in Poznan.
It is an enterprise set up to consolidate and strengthen the Polish school of classical guitar within the bounds of international cultural and academic cooperation. The residents and guests of the most beautiful locations in the region are invited to concerts with the finest and most notable musicians in the performing art of the classical guitar.
